What to expect at your dental visit after COVID-19

06-01-2020

To our valued patients,

The American Dental Association has developed guidance to dentists on extra, to help protect their patients and staff, and our office wants to assure everyone that we are closely following all guidelines.

Here’s what you can expect at your next appointment;

To help make sure patients that have appointments are healthy, our office will call you before your appointment and ask you some questions about your current health. As well as repeat those questions at check in along with taking your current temperature and have hand sanitizer readily available. We have HEPA air purification systems running office wide, yet if you prefer to call our office when you arrive to make us aware you’re here, that’s alright too!

Our staff may also ask that you limit the number of people you bring to the appointment. Preferably until further notice, leaving your children at home or allowing older children to go into the office alone while their parent waits outside during their appointment is current routine at this point in time.

Our lobby and waiting room may appear different as all guidelines require all objects to be removed during this time, reasoning for no children’s toys, book, and also magazines are gone during this time. Our staff are also using different protective equipment than they’ve used at previous appointments. This does include different masks, face shields, gowns and goggles. These additional precautions help protect both you and the dentist!

Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to contact our office directly with any concerns you may have in regards to appointments.

Thank you,
